Tokenomics

Hubble Protocol’s economic model balances supply, emissions, and rewards:

  • $HUBBLE:

    • Total Supply: 200,000

    • Emissions: 175,200 $xHUBBLE (17,520/year for 10 years)

    • Reserves: 10,400 $xHUBBLE

    • Initial: 4,800 $HUBBLE (Liquidity), 4,800 $xHUBBLE (Team), 4,800 $HUBBLE (Genesis)

  • $xHUBBLE: Locked for 180 days, earns via Mission Control

  • $EX: Soft-pegged to $stS, rewarded when above peg

  • $xEX: Locked for 14 days, earns $xHUBBLE in Dark Energy Module

Staking rewards come from exitors and emissions, tied to $EX’s peg status.

Supply and Distribution

The total supply of $HUBBLE is fixed at 200,000 tokens, creating a predictable maximum bound for the share token. This capped supply helps maintain scarcity while allowing for sufficient distribution to support protocol operations.

Protocol emissions account for 175,200 $xHUBBLE, distributed at a rate of 17,520 per year over a 10-year period. This measured approach prevents excessive inflation while ensuring continuous rewards for protocol participants.

Protocol reserves hold 10,400 $xHUBBLE, creating a strategic buffer for future development needs.

The initial distribution includes three equal allocations of 4,800 tokens each: Genesis distribution, initial liquidity provision, and team allocation (as $xHUBBLE). This balanced approach supports multiple protocol needs while avoiding excessive concentration in any single area.

Locking and Staking Mechanisms

The locking and staking mechanics create additional utility and alignment within the Hubble ecosystem. $xHUBBLE represents $HUBBLE locked for 180 days, implementing the same vesting mechanics as $xSHADOW to create predictable unlocking schedules.

Users attempting instant exits from locked positions face penalties, with the exited value being split between Mission Control and the Dark Energy Module. This creates a disincentive for premature withdrawals while benefiting committed participants.

Staking $xHUBBLE in Mission Control provides multiple reward streams: $xHUBBLE from early exiters, $xHUBBLE emissions during specific protocol states, and $EX rewards when the protocol operates above peg. Similarly, staking $xEX in the Dark Energy Module offers rewards targeted toward supporting the protocol during challenging market conditions.
